Preparing for Upcoming Events

Today we prepared for two upcoming events:

• April 29-May 3: Special Screening and Q&A for Sol Cinema Cafe, NYC
• May 8–12: Takeout & A Movie to support Oregon Hospitality Foundation

Tickets are now on sale for both events, and proceeds are split with our partners.

ImageNation’s Sol Cinema Cafe had just begun construction on their new cinema in New York City when COVID-19 shut down their operations. They have pivoted and will now present a film and Q&A series beginning this weekend with a virtual screening of Phoenix, Oregon and a Q&A May 3.

To kick off the weekend event, on April 29 at 9am ET, I will be participating on a panel with other distributors who have had to make a similar pivot.

The Oregon Hospitality Foundation has created the Hospitality Help Relief Fund to give grants to restaurants across Oregon who are directly providing food for our frontline heroes and the food insecure. They are raising $30,000 and will contribute $2,000 grants to restaurants in each region.

Takeout & A Movie, a partnership between the Oregon Hospitality Foundation and Theatrical-At-Home will kick-off fundraising efforts with a virtual screening of Phoenix, Oregon.

We will be encouraging anyone who buys tickets to also get takeout from their favorite restaurant and then watch the movie anytime the weekend of May 8–12. We will also have a Q&A on May 9 with cast & crew.
