Daily Blogging. Almost Half-Way.

Next week, I will pass the half way mark for my 365 Day Blogging Challenge.

Currently I am not happy with the process and results. My life is busy, and blogging is the last thing I think of every day — usually at midnight.

It’s like when I slept on my front porch for many weeks in a row during my 30-week sleep-outside challenge. Once I had reaped real benefits (at around 20 weeks), I let go of needing the campouts to be adventurous and edgy.

The first month of blogging was fun, challenging, heart-wrenching at times and full of growth experiences. I learned to allow my words to live in the world without fear.

But now, I am rushing. I have let go of common threads, purpose and loving intention. Lately, it’s been done purely out of commitment, and I’m starting to resent the space it occupies in my life.

Over the next week, as I near the half-way mark, I will consider a new perspective and plan for my daily blogging. My whole life has been thrown off the last few months, and I’m exhausted with uncertainty and planning. I have forgotten to reconnect with goals. It’s time for a reevaluation of goals, plans and blogging to see if I can infuse the second half of this challenge with new motivation, intention and long-term benefits.
